The initial project that marked the beginning of a robust business endeavor for TDC was the development of BACOLOD MEMORIAL PARK, which broke ground on October 3, 1966. It was the first Memorial Park developed in the Visayas area, and at present, continues to be one of the most important landmarks in Bacolod City.

Bacolod Memorial Park does not only bring about a feeling of serenity and calm but the place was carefully designed and structured to deliver a sense of “coming home” for loved ones. It is a convergence of the urban landscape and the tranquility of nature, providing the perfect resting place for your dearly beloved.

Having created the demand for Memorial Park Estate in the city, TDC excitedly introduced ROSE LAWNS MEMORIAL PARK to the community in 1980. It was the second Memorial Park Project of TDC, comprising a Twenty (20)-Hectare property north-bound of Bacolod City.

Like Bacolod Memorial Park, Rose Lawns was designed to meet the needs of the average income earner, offering the same beauty and solitude for persons closest to one’s heart. The sprawling greenery, coupled with lush palms and trees, create an appeal that can be defined as beautiful, but without the usually high price tag attached to such a place. Rose Lawns has become synonymous to practicality, yet offers classy amenities that can leave you feeling satisfied at having made a good investment.

In October 8, 1988, it opened GOLDCREST VILLAGE, an admirable urban landscape surrounded by the greeneries of the Marapara Golf and Country Club. Residents get to enjoy clean air and a quiet atmosphere, and if they so choose, a leisurely round of golf at the nearby golf club can truly make it worth their while.

Having gained a good reception for Goldcrest, TDC opened its second subdivisionoctagon village bacolod city teresa development corporation project, OCTAGON VILLAGE, on March of 1994. Octagon sits on a 13-hectare property, providing residents with a fantastic view of Mt. Marapara. It is one of the subdivisions in Bacolod City that allows individuals to find solace from the hustles and bustles of city life. Geared to offer low-cost socialized and economic housing to prospective buyers, those who earn at least PhP 6,000.00 (six thousand pesos) a month will be able to have a home he can call his own right at Octagon Village.

Aside from those mentioned above, TDC has endeavored into the development of several commercial spaces in the city including TERRA BLDG. II and HERITAGE DORMITORY. And seeing the strong need for memorialization and cremation, TDC has launched the ACROPOLIS GARDENS, the most advanced memorial chapel and crematorium in Bacolod City. It is the first of its kind in the Philippines where the dearly departed will have a fitting and dignified memorial service.

For more than fifty years, Teresa Development Corporation has been one of the moving forces in the economic landscape of the city, inspiring individuals and touching lives, by being sensitive to a tradition, strongly bound by ethical business practices, and being a catalyst of progress that will continue to shape Bacolod City for years to come.
